You are a strong communicator and collaborator — working closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders is second nature to you. You can articulate operational strategies clearly and motivate your team to achieve common goals.
What you'll do
As the Operations Manager, you will be a founding member of Wheely's New York launch team, playing a crucial role in bringing the service to market. You will oversee day-to-day operational execution, ensuring that all processes align with Wheely's commitment to delivering a five-star experience. Your focus will be on acquiring and retaining the best chauffeurs, adapting global operational standards to fit the New York market, and maintaining a consistently high-quality service from launch.
You will help establish the local operating model, ensuring that every journey is curated to meet the expectations of our discerning clientele. Your role will involve training and supporting chauffeurs to uphold Wheely's standards of excellence, ensuring they are equipped to provide a seamless experience for passengers.
You will also be responsible for monitoring operational performance and implementing improvements where necessary — your analytical skills will help you identify areas for enhancement and ensure that the service continually evolves to meet customer needs. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that all aspects of the operation run smoothly, from logistics to customer service.
