Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, with a strong background in improving production processes and working with contract manufacturers. Your proactive problem-solving skills have enabled you to successfully bring electro-mechanical products to market on time and within budget. You possess a Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field, such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, which has equipped you with the technical knowledge necessary for this role.

Your experience evaluating production line performance metrics allows you to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. You are comfortable communicating with design engineers to ensure that design changes are seamlessly integrated into the manufacturing process. Your hands-on approach and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams make you an asset in any engineering environment.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on improving existing manufacturing lines to support the growth of Formlabs. You will establish in-line or intermediate checks to catch failures earlier in the production process, ensuring higher quality outputs. Your responsibilities will include designing and analyzing production lines, building processes, and putting metrics around them to drive continuous improvement.

You will work closely with contract manufacturers who create our custom parts, collaborating with them to enhance their output and efficiency. Your ability to communicate effectively with design engineers will be crucial in ensuring that any design changes are adopted and implemented smoothly. You will play a key role in shaping the future of fabrication at Formlabs, contributing to the development of tools that empower innovation across various industries.

What we offer

At Formlabs, we offer a competitive salary range of $120,000—$150,000 USD, along with equity in the form of RSUs. Your financial investment will grow with us in accordance to your impact.
