You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Software engineers, to translate system-level requirements into robust hardware solutions. Your ability to define requirements and influence architectural choices makes you a key technical lead in hardware development.

What you'll do

As a Staff Electrical Engineer at WHOOP, you will lead the architecture and design of complex embedded systems that integrate multiple sensing modalities and wireless connectivity. You will be responsible for ensuring that the signal acquisition and transduction subsystems meet stringent performance criteria, including dynamic range and timing synchronization. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams to ensure that hardware designs are production-ready and meet the needs of our users.

You will define and influence the architecture choices for our products, ensuring that they align with WHOOP's mission to unlock human performance. Your technical leadership will guide the team through the bring-up, tuning, and validation phases of product development. You will also be involved in mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge of DSP and mixed-signal design principles to foster their growth.
