What you'll do

As the Engineering Manager for the Wikidata Platform team, you will lead the development of the Wikidata Query Service and related platform services. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of scalable, reliable, and sustainable query infrastructure that supports various tools and features across the Wikimedia ecosystem. You will work closely with product, SRE, and data teams to shape the future of Wikidata's query capabilities, ensuring they align with the needs of the community.

You will address issues of diverse scope, evaluating various factors to make informed decisions that align with the Wikimedia Foundation's priorities. Your role will involve strategic planning and execution, ensuring that your team delivers high-quality engineering solutions that enhance the user experience for millions of contributors worldwide.
