Who you are
You are a Battery & Thermal Test Engineer with a strong background in testing and validating energy storage and thermal management systems. You have experience working with battery systems at various levels, including cell, module, and pack, ensuring their safety and performance. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for innovative technologies that contribute to sustainable urban mobility.
You thrive in hands-on environments and enjoy working with instrumentation and data analysis to validate cutting-edge technologies. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will help you succeed in this role, as you will be part of the Energy Storage and Power Systems (ESPS) team at Wisk.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support the design and execution of battery and thermal system tests, ensuring the reliability of our energy storage systems for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. You will analyze test data to validate performance metrics and safety standards, contributing to the development of innovative solutions in urban mobility. Your work will directly impact the future of autonomous flight, making it safer and more efficient.
You will collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to refine testing methodologies and improve system designs. Your insights will help shape the direction of our projects, ensuring that we meet our goals for performance and sustainability. You will also be responsible for documenting test procedures and results, providing clear communication to stakeholders about the progress and outcomes of your work.
