What you'll do
As a Senior Battery Abuse Test Engineer at Wisk, you will lead the design, execution, and analysis of abuse tests for our advanced battery systems. Your role will involve validating battery performance under extreme conditions, ensuring that our systems meet the highest safety and reliability standards. You will collaborate with the Energy Storage and Power Systems (ESPS) team to contribute to the development of industry-leading safety protocols.
You will be responsible for documenting test procedures and results, providing insights that will guide the design and improvement of our battery systems. Your work will directly impact the safety and performance of our eVTOL aircraft, making it essential to maintain rigorous testing standards. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of safety and innovation within the team.
