Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, particularly with Java and Spring Boot, and you understand the intricacies of building scalable systems that leverage event-driven architecture. Your expertise in Kafka allows you to effectively publish and consume messages, and you are well-versed in concepts such as topics, partitions, and consumer groups. You have a solid grasp of architectural patterns and design patterns, ensuring that your solutions are both robust and maintainable.

Your experience includes unit testing with frameworks like JUnit and Mockito, which you use to ensure the reliability of your code. You are familiar with event modeling using a domain-driven approach and understand the importance of event versioning and formats in a microservices architecture. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to a culture of growth and innovation.

Desirable

While not mandatory, familiarity with AI tooling is a plus. You may have experience leveraging AI tools to optimize workflows or provide recommendations on effective AI use. Knowledge of technologies such as Eureka, Avro, KStreams, and Apache Flink would be beneficial, as would an understanding of event governance and library creation. Your ability to work with Schema Registry and distributed tracing will set you apart in this role.
