Who you are

You have strong hands-on expertise with Swift and SwiftUI, showcasing your ability to develop high-quality iOS applications. With typically 8+ years of experience, you have a senior-level background in leading iOS development teams and architecture, ensuring that your projects meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your deep knowledge of data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, and mobile architectures (MVP/MVVM) allows you to create scalable and maintainable applications. You are familiar with declarative UI and have experience with Git and DevOps practices, which are essential for modern software development workflows. A full-stack background is a plus, as it enhances your ability to collaborate across different areas of the development process. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, which enables you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable

While not mandatory, familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, and Firebase can set you apart as a candidate. Your passion for news and ability to research or automate processes will contribute to your effectiveness in this role, as you will be expected to provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.

What you'll do

In this role, you will apply agile development practices and define architecture models, coding standards, and development guidelines that align with Wizeline's commitment to delivering high-quality digital products. You will design and implement processes for development, testing, monitoring, and change management, ensuring that your team operates efficiently and effectively. Collaboration with product teams will be key as you manage technical scope, deliverables, and prioritization, helping to align technical efforts with business goals. You will identify strategic technical debt, perform cost/benefit analysis, and recommend priorities to enhance product quality and performance. As a lead, you will champion scalability, reliability, performance, usability, and overall product quality, delegating tasks effectively and proactively removing blockers for your team.
