Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong background in managing cloud environments and deploying scalable applications. Your expertise in AWS and Terraform allows you to build and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support business operations. You are proficient in container orchestration with Kubernetes and have hands-on experience with Docker, ensuring seamless deployment and management of applications.

You possess a solid understanding of Linux systems and are comfortable working in a command-line environment. Your programming skills in Golang enable you to automate processes and enhance system performance. You are familiar with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus, which you use to monitor system health and performance metrics effectively.

You have experience with secrets management systems such as Vault, ensuring that sensitive information is securely handled within your infrastructure. Your contributions to open-source infrastructure projects demonstrate your commitment to community and continuous learning. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with Kafka for managing real-time data streams is a plus, as is familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL and ClickHouse. You are always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies that can enhance your work and the team's output.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that support Workato's enterprise orchestration platform. You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure. Your work will involve automating deployment processes and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.

You will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, using your expertise in observability tools to maintain high availability and performance standards. You will also contribute to the development of best practices for infrastructure management and ensure compliance with security protocols.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles. You will participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of the infrastructure team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
