Who you are

5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong background in managing cloud environments and deploying scalable applications. You have a deep understanding of AWS services and can architect solutions that meet business needs while ensuring high availability and performance.

Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is essential. You have experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, enabling you to automate deployments and manage infrastructure efficiently.

You are familiar with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus, allowing you to monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. Your understanding of secrets management systems, such as Vault, ensures that sensitive information is handled securely.

Your coding skills in Golang enable you to contribute to infrastructure projects and develop automation scripts that enhance operational efficiency. You have a collaborative mindset and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve processes.

Desirable

Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source infrastructure projects is a plus. Familiarity with data streaming technologies like Kafka and databases such as PostgreSQL will further strengthen your application.

What you'll do

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Workato, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions that support our enterprise orchestration platform. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure that infrastructure meets the needs of applications and services.

You will lead initiatives to improve system reliability and performance, leveraging your expertise in AWS and container orchestration. Your role will involve automating deployment processes and managing infrastructure through code, ensuring that our systems are scalable and maintainable.

Monitoring and observability will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as you will set up and maintain dashboards to track system health and performance metrics. You will also troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, working closely with other engineers to ensure seamless operations.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Your insights and experience will help shape best practices and drive innovation in our infrastructure management processes.
