Xometry is hiring a Quality Manufacturing Engineer to support their rapid customer growth. You'll work on improving the Quality Management System and related processes. This position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication.

You have a strong background in quality engineering and manufacturing processes, with experience in improving quality management systems. Your analytical skills allow you to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments, effectively communicating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals. You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and are dedicated to enhancing performance from concept to implementation.
You possess the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, ensuring that you meet deadlines even in demanding situations. Your experience in quality control and assurance enables you to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. You are comfortable working both virtually and onsite, adapting to the needs of the team and the project.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead various engineering-centric activities for both internal and external customers. You will utilize your expertise in advanced product quality planning to enhance Xometry's Quality Management System and related processes. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with customers, DFM Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Case Management, and the Supply Chain Network to ensure quality standards are met. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that customer requirements are effectively communicated and addressed.
You will engage in problem-solving activities, analyzing data and feedback to identify trends and areas for enhancement. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance strategies that align with Xometry's goals. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members on quality standards and best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
