Xometry is seeking a Vice President/Senior Director of Sales Engineering to lead their sales engineering team. You'll drive technical pre-sales support and solution architecture for enterprise customers. This role requires extensive experience in sales engineering leadership.

You have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales engineering teams — your experience includes recruiting, mentoring, and developing skilled professionals while fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer focus. You understand the importance of strategic technical leadership and have partnered with sales leadership to develop and execute technical sales strategies that align with company revenue goals.

Your background includes extensive experience in solution architecture and product demonstrations — you excel at translating customer needs into technical solutions and have a deep understanding of the sales process in a technical environment. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary technical expertise to close complex deals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and grow a high-performing Sales Engineering team, focusing on recruiting, mentoring, and developing skilled sales engineers. You will partner with sales leadership to develop and execute technical sales strategies that align with the company's revenue goals. Your responsibilities will include driving technical pre-sales support, solution architecture, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing enterprise customers.
