Supplier Development Engineer • Mid-Level

Your experience in the aerospace, defense, and medical sectors gives you a unique perspective on the challenges faced by suppliers in highly regulated environments. You are comfortable working with diverse teams and can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the development and engagement of Xometry's supplier network. You will work closely with internal Technical sales and Sourcing teams to ensure that our partners are prepared for complex projects. Your primary focus will be on onboarding new supplier partners and facilitating their success within the Xometry platform. You will coach partners on best practices and help them navigate the requirements of production programs.

You will also be tasked with optimizing supplier performance, which includes monitoring their engagement and capacity to meet customer needs. Your role will involve managing risks associated with supplier performance and ensuring that all partners are ready for high-stakes projects. You will be the bridge between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring that communication flows smoothly and that all parties are aligned on project goals.
