YipitData is seeking a Senior SDET to lead quality assurance efforts in their analytics platform. You'll work with Java and Selenium to ensure the reliability of data-driven insights. This role requires strong experience in test automation and software development.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software development and testing, with a strong focus on quality assurance practices. Your expertise in Java and Selenium allows you to create robust test automation frameworks that ensure the reliability of software products. You understand the importance of data integrity and have experience working with large datasets, which is crucial for our analytics-driven environment. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for identifying edge cases and potential issues before they reach production. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to enhance product quality. You are committed to continuous improvement and enjoy mentoring junior team members to elevate the overall skill level of the QA team.
Desirable
Experience with JUnit and other testing frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies will also be beneficial in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies that can improve our testing processes.
What you'll do
As a Senior SDET at YipitData, you will lead the charge in ensuring the quality of our analytics platform. You will design and implement automated tests that cover various aspects of our software, from unit tests to end-to-end testing. Collaborating closely with developers, you will help define testing strategies and ensure that quality is built into the development process from the start. You will also analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team, helping to drive improvements in both the product and the testing process. Your role will involve mentoring junior QA engineers, sharing best practices, and fostering a culture of quality within the team. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall architecture of our testing frameworks, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
