Your expertise in Autodesk Inventor allows you to develop designs that meet high standards for accuracy and manufacturability. You enjoy mentoring junior drafters, providing them with technical guidance and feedback to help them grow in their roles.

You are skilled in reviewing and interpreting mechanical specifications, ensuring that your designs are optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness. Your attention to detail enables you to perform advanced tolerance analysis and fit-up verification, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with project engineers and manufacturing teams to deliver projects on time.

What you'll do

As a Design Drafter at Zeeco, you will lead the creation of detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings, ensuring that all drafting deliverables align with project specifications. You will coordinate drafting activities across multiple projects, maintaining schedule alignment and consistent drawing standards. Your role will involve preparing and checking detailed drawings, including assemblies and intricate component details, to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and approving drawing packages created by junior drafters, providing them with mentorship and technical guidance. Collaborating with engineering and project management teams, you will confirm equipment selection and resolve design issues as they arise. Additionally, you will support shop and field personnel with design clarifications, ensuring that all stakeholders have the information they need to succeed.
