What you'll do
In this internship, you will be assigned to either the HIL Platform Software team or the Hardware Software Integration team. On the HIL Platform Software team, you will assist in building validation tools that enable the Zoox robot to be tested safely and efficiently from a server room. This role will involve developing a high-level understanding of system design and component interactions, guiding requirements, and supporting teams using the validation framework.
If you join the Hardware Software Integration team, your focus will be on ensuring the reliability of various hardware subsystems on the vehicle platform. You will help prototype and maintain advanced hardware/software tools for system-level testing, ensuring that the platform evolves sustainably under changing requirements. You will also write Python scripts and develop automated test scripts for technology domains, including CAN and Ethernet-based network devices.
