You understand the importance of implementing and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and are well-versed in enforcing Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and 5S standards. Your experience in managing cross-functional teams allows you to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve strategic goals. You are passionate about building a high-performing team and are dedicated to the holistic readiness and safety of the vehicle fleet.

What you'll do

As the Senior Team Lead for Base Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all maintenance and repair tasks are executed efficiently and safely. You will lead a team of vehicle technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Your role will involve developing and refining operational processes to ensure scalability and readiness for future growth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with company objectives, translating high-level goals into practical execution models. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, where team members are encouraged to take ownership of their work and contribute to operational excellence.

In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and implementing corrective actions as needed. Your ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement will be essential in driving efficiency and effectiveness within the team. You will play a key role in ensuring the strategic deployment of Zoox’s Robotaxi vehicle fleet, contributing to the company's mission of revolutionizing transportation.
