What you'll do

As the Team Lead for Base Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. You will implement and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational effectiveness and safety. Your role will involve enforcing Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and 5S standards, ensuring that all team members adhere to these practices.

You will be responsible for the holistic readiness and strategic deployment of Zoox’s Robotaxi vehicle fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained and ready for operation. You will lead your team through the 3rd shift, managing schedules and workflows to optimize productivity. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of safety and accountability, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
