What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at Zopa, you will take on a hands-on technical leadership role across multiple squads, focusing on the Point of Sale (PoS) products. You will own the technical strategy for PoS, enabling the team to scale systems effectively and grow their impact in the finance sector. Your responsibilities will include driving architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and ensuring best practices are followed in building robust systems.

You will work closely with product teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions. Your role will involve frequent deployments to production, allowing you to witness the immediate impact of your contributions. You will also be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment where engineers can thrive and innovate.
