Job Description
Who you are
You have over 8 years of experience in hardware quality management, particularly in the automotive sector, where you've been responsible for ensuring the reliability of complex control units. Your background includes extensive experience with vehicle quality systems and regulatory requirements, allowing you to navigate the complexities of automotive standards with ease.
You possess a deep understanding of environmental and durability testing, having planned and executed tests that predict product lifespan and analyze failure modes. Your familiarity with standards such as ISO16750 and LV124 enables you to define and validate testing procedures effectively.
Your experience includes collaborating with external testing labs and partners, managing schedules, and ensuring that all validation tasks are completed on time. You are adept at generating reliability metrics based on test data and leading improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
You have hands-on experience with hardware-software integration and hardware integration testing, which allows you to bridge the gap between design and functionality. Your technical skills are complemented by your ability to document test plans and results meticulously, ensuring that all findings are approved and communicated clearly.
Desirable
You have a strong preference for candidates with experience in quality standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE, as well as an understanding of high-voltage systems and automotive communication protocols like CAN/LIN. Familiarity with reliability analysis techniques, such as Weibull analysis, is also a plus. Additionally, you have experience operating test automation equipment, particularly those based on PXI and LabVIEW.

In this role, you will take charge of the validation processes for automotive control units, ensuring that all products meet the highest reliability standards. You will plan and execute environmental and durability tests, using your expertise to predict product lifespan and analyze potential failure modes.
You will define and validate testing procedures based on industry standards, ensuring that all tests are conducted in compliance with ISO16750 and LV124. Your role will involve documenting test plans and results, managing approvals, and collaborating with external testing facilities to ensure thorough validation.
You will lead initiatives to improve product reliability based on test data, generating key metrics that inform design decisions and enhance overall product quality. Your collaboration with design teams will be crucial as you work together to strengthen product reliability through effective testing and validation strategies.
You will also oversee hardware-software integration testing, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Your ability to communicate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be essential in driving quality improvements across the organization.
