Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Hardware Engineering, along with 6 years of experience in Data Center system hardware domains such as Semiconductors, PCIe, and Power Electronics. Your expertise includes working with CPU/xPU architectures, Networking, Embedded Systems, and Servers, which has equipped you with a comprehensive understanding of hardware systems.
You possess strong analytical skills and have experience in data curation, mining, analysis, and visualization. You are proficient in scripting with tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau, enabling you to derive insights from complex datasets. Your background in Quality and Reliability engineering roles has prepared you to tackle technical challenges effectively.
You are familiar with Fault Isolation (FI) and failure analysis (FA) methodologies, which allows you to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through technical issues with a focus on pragmatic execution. Your proficiency in statistical methodologies and predictive modeling enhances your ability to ensure long-term stability in hardware systems.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving fleet-wide technical issues while implementing product and methodological enhancements to maximize hardware system reliability. You will conduct thorough analysis of fleet data to address systemic issues and implement preventative measures. Your work will ensure efficient deployment and maintenance within data center environments.
You will partner with System Software and Diagnostics/Test teams to enhance the detection, characterization, and resolution of fleet-scale hardware failures. Leading the initiation and implementation of innovative product, process, and tool enhancement projects will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will integrate lessons learned from field performance data into New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring that new products meet the highest reliability standards.
