Who you are

You have extensive experience in infrastructure development and a deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms. Your expertise in DevOps principles and agile methodologies allows you to lead infrastructure and operations effectively, ensuring that your team and clients are aligned with operational requirements. You are skilled in designing and building enterprise-level hosting platforms, managing application servers, web servers, and databases seamlessly. Your ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences makes you an effective collaborator across teams.

You are proficient in using scripting languages and have experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools. Your background includes working with continuous integration tools and monitoring systems, allowing you to implement robust solutions that enhance performance and reliability. You thrive in environments that require innovative problem-solving and enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders to create scalable and flexible solutions.

Desirable

Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools is a plus, as is familiarity with observability patterns and distributed tracing. You have a knack for building strong partnerships with clients and can adapt to changing business strategies while proposing innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will initiate projects through hands-on implementation, assessing and driving improvements in existing infrastructure. You will listen to client needs and develop technical roadmaps and effective solutions to support their challenging business objectives. Collaborating with business development, marketing, and functional development teams, you will help shape and build the cloud and infrastructure practices at Thoughtworks.

You will ensure that controls and processes for continuous delivery of applications are established and maintained, considering all stages of the process and their automation. Monitoring and ensuring that technical expectations are consistently met on projects will be a key responsibility. You will act as a thought leader in DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure engineering both on client sites and at Thoughtworks, building trust and thoughtful partnerships with clients' CIOs, CTOs, and relevant teams.

Your role will also involve adjusting to current constraints and business strategies, proposing innovative solutions that align with client goals. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within your team and across the organization.
