You are a seasoned philanthropic leader with a strong existing network of potential individual supporters — you have a proven ability to build such networks and drive fundraising efforts effectively. Your experience in philanthropy has equipped you with the skills to mobilize capital and create sustainable financial vehicles focused on impactful solutions to poverty.
You understand the evolving landscape of philanthropy and are passionate about leveraging business for social good — your background includes working with entrepreneurs, investors, and social innovators to create a more just and inclusive future. You are adept at building relationships and engaging stakeholders to support significant fundraising initiatives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a central part in Acumen's $200 million fundraising effort — you will drive the mobilization of philanthropic capital from individuals, creating a strong base for future investments. You will collaborate with a small, dedicated team to develop strategies that align with Acumen's mission of breaking the cycle of poverty through innovative financial solutions.
You will engage with potential supporters, articulating Acumen's vision and impact to inspire their involvement — your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in building trust and securing commitments. You will also work closely with other leaders within Acumen to ensure that fundraising efforts are aligned with organizational goals and strategies.
What we offer

The compensation for this role ranges from $170,000 to $200,000, plus an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
