Who you are
You have a strong background in product design, with a proven track record of leading design initiatives that drive user engagement and satisfaction. Your experience includes working closely with engineering and product teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive and user-friendly designs. You are passionate about creating seamless user experiences and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the design aligns with the overall product vision. You thrive in collaborative environments and are skilled at communicating design concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
You bring a deep understanding of design principles and methodologies, and you are proficient in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Your ability to leverage user research and data analytics informs your design decisions, allowing you to create solutions that meet user needs while achieving business objectives. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and user experience.
Desirable
Experience in the fintech or payments industry is a plus, as it gives you insight into the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams will help you excel in this role. What you'll do
As the Product Design Lead at Airwallex, you will be responsible for shaping the design strategy for our products, ensuring that user experience is at the forefront of our development process. You will lead a team of designers, providing mentorship and guidance while fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration. Your role will involve conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights that will inform design decisions and improve product usability.
You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and translate them into design specifications. Your ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs will be crucial in communicating your vision to the team. You will also be responsible for maintaining design consistency across our product suite, ensuring that our brand identity is reflected in every user interaction.
