AKQA is hiring an Accounts Receivable Executive to manage client billing and accounts receivable tasks. You'll work closely with the Client Accounting team and require 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 2 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or project accounting, demonstrating a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. You excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with various teams, ensuring timely and professional delivery of reports and invoices. Your attention to detail allows you to raise sales invoices accurately and within defined time frames, adhering to client contracts and instructions.
You are proactive in resolving old reconciling items and ensuring compliance with the Assignment Acceptance policy and Framework. Your basic knowledge of Excel enables you to perform necessary checks and assist with month-end reports effectively. You are comfortable updating client invoicing portals and sending client statements as needed, showcasing your organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
What you'll do
As an Accounts Receivable Executive, you will be responsible for raising sales invoices accurately and on time for clients in London and Sweden. You will assist the Assistant Manager - Finance with audit queries and other ad hoc requests, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met without leaving any reconciling items unexplained. You will also play a key role in reconciling accounts receivable and chasing payments for overdue debtors, providing commentary on overdue balances to the reporting team.
Your role will involve collaborating with the finance team to advise on cash receipts that need to be posted, and you will be the first approver of payments. You will assist in running ad hoc financial reports as necessary, contributing to the overall efficiency of the Client Accounting team. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively will be essential in this role, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
