Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the technology and consulting sectors — your experience in selling services equips you to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for customers. You excel in building trust and understanding customer needs, which allows you to define business outcomes effectively. Your analytical and problem-solving skills enable you to navigate challenges and drive customer success.
You are proficient in business development and have experience executing sales methodologies — managing CRM systems is second nature to you, and you understand how to leverage data to inform your strategies. Your ability to engage with customers and maintain relationships post-launch ensures that you deliver on the agreed customer business outcomes outlined in the SOW.
You thrive in metrics-driven environments, where your performance is measured against key indicators such as Revenue, Billable Bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT). Your new customer acquisition experience is vital for success in this role, and you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting.
Desirable
Experience with AWS Professional Services offerings is a plus, as is familiarity with hybrid cloud operations and distributed architecture. A background in IT strategy will further enhance your ability to engage with clients effectively.
What you'll do
As a Senior ProServe Account Executive at Amazon Web Services, you will be responsible for engaging and winning new customers in transformative projects. You will collaborate closely with ProServe Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth. Your role will involve understanding and defining business outcomes for customers, building trust, and identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings.
You will create proposals and secure customer signoff on Statements of Work (SOWs), ensuring that all parties are aligned on project goals. Following project launch, you will maintain a connection with the customer to ensure that the agreed business outcomes are being delivered. Your ability to translate technical concepts into business value will be crucial as you work to demonstrate the impact of AWS solutions on customer operations.
You will be measured against key performance metrics, including Revenue and Billable Bookings, and will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction. Your experience in new customer acquisition will be essential as you seek to expand AWS's footprint in the market.
