Who you are

You have a proven track record in consultative sales, ideally with experience in managing accounts and building long-term relationships with clients. Your expertise in solution-selling allows you to tailor offerings to meet the unique needs of each institution, ensuring that you can effectively address their procurement requirements. You are comfortable engaging with decision-makers across various functional areas, including Information Technology and Facilities, to foster strong partnerships.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to educate and network with key contacts effectively. Your ability to initiate prospecting and lead generation activities demonstrates your proactive approach to achieving sales targets. You are results-driven, consistently meeting or exceeding customer acquisition and spend adoption goals, and you thrive in environments where you can leverage both traditional and digital prospecting tactics.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at Amazon, you will be responsible for building and managing your book of business, focusing on the Mid-Market segment. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting new clients, presenting Amazon Business account tours, and ensuring that recommended solutions align with customer procurement needs. You will work closely with customers to manage deployment and ensure successful adoption of Amazon's solutions.

You will engage in lead generation activities, utilizing your expertise to educate potential clients about the features and benefits of Amazon Business. Your role will involve developing relationships with key decision-makers and understanding their unique requirements, including contracting and competitive needs specific to public institutions. You will also be responsible for recommending approaches that fit their environment, including eProcurement integration and automated reconciliation processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that solutions are effectively implemented. Your ability to relay market insights and customer feedback will be crucial in shaping the future of Amazon Business offerings. You will be expected to meet or exceed targets for customer acquisition and spend adoption, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Amazon provides a competitive salary range of CAD 94,600.00 - 127,700.00 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance. You will also have access to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) and a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP).
