You possess strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and are adept at performing planned preventative maintenance and emergency response — your expertise allows you to serve as a key technical resource for onsite Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with diverse teams to solve complex challenges.

What you'll do

As the Data Center Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the operational integrity of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center — your role is crucial in ensuring that all systems operate at 100% availability. You will lead the team in executing daily corrective work and planned maintenance, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally.

You will act as the primary point of contact for all facility operations, coordinating with various teams to support AWS's infrastructure services — your leadership will guide the team in maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence. You will also engage in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
