You are a technical resource who collaborates effectively with onsite Engineering Operations Technicians and third-party vendors, serving as a focal point for facility operations within the data center. Your background includes a strong understanding of preventative maintenance and emergency response protocols, which are critical in maintaining seamless operations for AWS. You thrive in environments that require a blend of technical knowledge and operational oversight, ensuring that the infrastructure supports millions of customers worldwide.

Desirable

Experience with cloud computing infrastructure is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS services and operations. You may have a background in engineering disciplines that relate to data center management, such as electrical or mechanical engineering. Your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively is essential, as you will interact with various stakeholders across AWS.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the data center, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will lead planned preventative maintenance efforts and coordinate daily corrective work to address any issues that arise.
