Who you are
You are a highly experienced Senior Localization Executive with a proven track record in managing complex localization projects. You have the ability to navigate challenging situations with less defined workflows, ensuring that the best path forward is always identified. Your experience allows you to field escalations effectively and assist team members in capturing and articulating trends that improve the creative experience across all titles.
You possess strong organizational skills, enabling you to track production and delivery progress for assigned series and movies. You are adept at overseeing the processing of all required assets from third-party production facilities through Amazonβs contracted vendors, ensuring end-to-end ownership of localization and preparation for distribution to various platforms, including Theatrical and Prime Video.
Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to keep internal and external stakeholders updated throughout the production process. You are proactive in managing localization progress, pursuing source materials, and organizing assets for final distribution. You are also skilled at troubleshooting any upstream or downstream rejections and assessing customer feedback to enhance the localization process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will liaise between current productions and third-party localization vendors, overseeing work related to translation, adaptation, casting, recording, and versioning of Amazon MGM Studios Originals content for global release. You will build strong relationships with vendors and internal teams, troubleshooting complex situations as they arise. Your ability to identify trends will help streamline processes and achieve localization goals effectively.
You will be responsible for updating and maintaining various schedules, ensuring that all timelines are met for global release. Your role will involve managing the localization progress of multiple titles simultaneously, requiring you to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing circumstances. You will also play a key role in capturing customer feedback and using it to inform future localization strategies.
