Who you are
You have a background in construction management, mechanical, electrical, or technology fields that enables you to innovate and maintain automation systems within data centers. You are passionate about working with building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS), and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can contribute to the highest standards of safety and security.
You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable navigating complex challenges that impact the supply chain. Your experience allows you to develop new processes and standards while innovating in the controls space. You are eager to work with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, and operations managers.
What you'll do
As a Data Center Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of automation systems within AWS data centers. You will collaborate with various teams across AWS to ensure that our infrastructure operates efficiently and securely. Your role will involve innovating and optimizing systems to provide our customers with continual access to cloud services.
You will work on challenging problems that require a deep understanding of the variables impacting the supply chain. Your contributions will help maintain the highest standards for safety and security while ensuring that we provide seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You will also have the opportunity to develop new processes and standards that enhance our operational capabilities.
