Job Description

Who you are

You are an entry-level technician eager to work in one of the world's most advanced data centers. You have a keen interest in technology and a desire to learn about data center operations. You are detail-oriented and capable of monitoring and recording information from various systems to ensure reliability and availability. You thrive in a team environment and are excited to collaborate with skilled professionals from around the globe.

You possess strong technical writing skills, which will support the change management program and help document processes effectively. You are comfortable with troubleshooting and have a basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. You are ready to take on challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of data center operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will perform daily building rounds to monitor and record information from electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS) to ensure 24/7 reliability. You will assist in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events, ensuring that all issues are resolved within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).

You will be involved in rack installations and decommissioning, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repairs of electrical and mechanical equipment. Your technical writing skills will be utilized to support the change management program, documenting processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. You will also monitor daily work requests and manage them to resolution, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
