You possess strong collaboration skills, enabling you to work seamlessly with various teams across the organization, including Advertising, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance. Your proven ability to lead highly ambiguous and large projects showcases your drive to deliver results and influence key pricing policies.
You are an experienced Principal Economist with a deep understanding of seller Economics and the ability to estimate the causal impact of fees. Your analytical skills are complemented by your ability to communicate complex economic concepts to non-experts, ensuring that your insights are actionable and impactful.
What you'll do
In this role, you will contribute to the development of Economics and Science products and services in the Fee domain, focusing on supply chain systems and pricing strategies. You will lead the development of causal models to isolate the impact of fee and policy changes from other business actions, utilizing experiments and observational data as necessary. Your work will involve collaborating with science and technology teams to design pricing policy changes that enhance Amazon's competitive edge.
You will be responsible for advising Amazon leaders on pricing strategies and developing scalable, repeatable models that support optimal pricing decisions. Your insights will directly influence how Amazon prices its services, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the marketplace. You will also guide scientists in developing econometric models that inform fee pricing worldwide, contributing to the overall success of Amazon's business.
What we offer
Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, financial, and other benefits.
