Who you are
You have a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in managing building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS). Your troubleshooting skills are top-notch, allowing you to quickly identify and resolve issues across complex systems. You are adept at project management, capable of juggling multiple stakeholder deliverables while navigating challenging situations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside motivated experts and innovators in the data center industry.
You understand the intricacies of data center operations, including the various components such as generators, uninterruptible power sources, and cooling systems. Your knowledge of local control systems and communication protocols enables you to develop new processes and standards effectively. You are committed to continuous improvement and innovation in the controls space, leveraging Amazon's leadership principles to drive results.
Desirable
Experience with project management tools and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with AWS services. A background in automation and control systems will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies and processes, ensuring that you remain at the forefront of the industry.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of BMS and EPMS systems, including creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, operation, and ongoing troubleshooting across multiple data centers. You will develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and levels of effort while ensuring that all stakeholder requirements are met. Your ability to manage complex multi-system environments will be crucial to your success.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of data center operations.
