You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems — your hands-on experience allows you to troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure effectively. You understand the importance of uptime in data centers and are committed to ensuring seamless operations that power global digital experiences. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside a diverse team of engineers and specialists to solve complex challenges. Your technical expertise includes knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, generators, and cooling systems, which are essential for maintaining data center operations.

Desirable

Experience with AWS infrastructure is a plus, as it aligns with the operational needs of the role. Familiarity with diesel generators and fuel systems will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers — your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, UPS systems, and various electrical components to ensure that our infrastructure remains operational at all times. Your role will involve hands-on maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.
