What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining the infrastructure that powers AWS data centers. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and PDUs. You will also maintain and operate stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally.

You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to monitor the performance of cooling systems, including CRAC units and centrifugal chillers, and ensure that all systems are compliant with safety regulations. Your role will involve conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. You will also participate in projects aimed at improving data center operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
