Job Description
Who you are
You are an entry-level Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment and are eager to learn about data center operations. Your attention to detail ensures that you maintain high standards of uptime and reliability in mission-critical environments.
You possess a basic understanding of electrical systems, including three-phase electrical systems, UPSs, and generators. You are comfortable working with various mechanical systems such as cooling towers and centrifugal chillers. Your ability to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists makes you a valuable asset in maintaining operational excellence.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical and mechanical systems that support Amazon's data centers. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine maintenance, responding to equipment failures, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime.
You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes, helping to enhance the reliability and efficiency of our data center infrastructure. Your role is critical in supporting AWS's global infrastructure, ensuring that our customers have uninterrupted access to the services they rely on.
