Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in financial operations, particularly in accounts receivable, with a proven ability to manage complex vendor account reconciliations. Your experience allows you to independently resolve aged debit and credit balances, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. You are adept at driving process improvements in a global delivery environment, demonstrating your capability to lead cross-functional initiatives that optimize financial operations.
Your expertise in balance sheet reconciliation is complemented by your analytical skills, enabling you to perform detailed reconciliations and determine optimal clearance strategies. You are familiar with systematic netting and clearance procedures, which you apply to clear open items in balance sheet reconciliations for cash and vendor clearing accounts. Your ability to root cause open items and provide permanent fixes showcases your problem-solving skills and commitment to operational excellence.
You have experience working with cash application teams to reduce unapplied and unidentified receipts, collaborating effectively with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate application of payments. Your proficiency in using Oracle Cash Manager allows you to reconcile cash accounting entries appropriately, ensuring all intercompany transactions and FX variances are accounted for within the same period.
What you'll do
In this role, you will independently analyze and resolve vendor accounts with aged balances, executing end-to-end clearance through designated payment processes. You will conduct Statement of Accounts analysis and collaborate with operations or technology teams to implement permanent fixes for open items. Your responsibilities will include ensuring all intercompany transactions and reclass journal entries are accounted for accurately and within the same period.
You will work closely with cash application teams to research missing, unidentified, and rejected funds, applying payments in a timely manner. Your role will require you to leverage your analytical skills to optimize financial operations and drive process improvements within the Global Accounts Receivable team. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
