Job Description
Who you are
You have a BS degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and ideally a Master's degree or higher. With over 3 years of experience in hardware design and validation, you have a strong background in system-level architecture and board-level design. Your expertise includes designing RF circuitry and collaborating with RF teams to create innovative solutions. You are familiar with common electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes and function generators, and you have experience in new hardware product development. Your knowledge of both analog and digital skills allows you to tackle complex engineering challenges effectively.
Desirable
Experience in wireless system design and architecture is a plus, as is familiarity with system integration and RF system analysis. You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, meeting the export control requirements for this position.
What you'll do
As a Hardware Engineer at Amazon, you will be responsible for the design and optimization of various blocks of antenna systems. You will lead the design of proof-of-concept systems and prototypes for next-generation antennas, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. Your role will involve designing automated test systems and test fixtures, as well as conducting bring-up and test campaigns for active antennas. You will also lead and review PCB layout to ensure it meets design specifications and industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key, as you work closely with RF engineers and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality hardware solutions.
