Who you are

You have extensive experience in human resources, ideally with a focus on operations and employee engagement. As a Senior HR Manager, you understand the intricacies of talent management and organizational effectiveness, and you are adept at developing strategies that align with business goals. You are a natural culture steward, capable of integrating Amazon's unique culture into the employee experience. You possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with senior leaders and internal stakeholders to drive HR initiatives.

You are knowledgeable about employee relations and have experience acting as a subject matter expert in this area. You monitor associate feedback and implement programs that enhance employee relations, retention, and reward systems. You are also experienced in managing labor relations and navigating complex cases, ensuring that HR policies are compliant with legislative changes. Your ability to create people-centric plans demonstrates your understanding of how talent fits into the broader business strategy.

You are proactive in your approach to recruitment and onboarding, coordinating with management to attract and retain top talent. You have a strong grasp of workforce planning and can develop training programs that meet the needs of the organization. Your experience in change management allows you to guide the organization through transitions smoothly, ensuring that employees are supported throughout the process.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced environment like Amazon is a plus, as is familiarity with HR technology and data analytics to inform decision-making. You may also have a background in developing and executing employee engagement strategies that foster a positive workplace culture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions for your site, ensuring that HR practices align with Amazon's business objectives. You will coordinate with management to build and execute recruitment strategies for middle and senior management positions, ensuring that onboarding and training processes are effective and supportive of new hires.

As a champion of change management, you will guide the organization through transitions, helping to implement standard processes and policies that facilitate smooth operations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that HR initiatives are integrated into the broader business strategy, fostering a culture that supports Amazon's mission and values.
