Who you are
You are a dedicated Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager with a strong commitment to creating a safe work environment. With experience in leading comprehensive safety programs, you understand the importance of safety in operations and are passionate about driving change. Your ability to build trust and influence change is crucial as you lead risk assessments and develop actionable strategies based on safety data.
You have a proven track record of transforming safety culture through innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership skills enable you to build and develop high-performing teams of WHS professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. You leverage technology and data analytics to drive preventive measures and enhance productivity in the workplace.
What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as the site's safety facilitator, orchestrating Amazon's Global WHS Program with precision. You will partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations, using data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that reduce risk. Your responsibilities will include leading comprehensive risk assessments, developing safety strategies, and driving initiatives that set new benchmarks in workplace safety.
You will be responsible for building a high-performing team of WHS professionals, mentoring them to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving safety excellence across the site, ensuring that safety is prioritized in all operational activities. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to implement safety programs that protect employees and enhance overall workplace safety.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $94,200.00 - $141,400.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
