Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in an operational environment, and you thrive on engaging and mentoring your team during their shifts. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand or walk for up to 12 hours, adapting to varying noise levels and temperatures in the workplace.
You have a collaborative mindset and are comfortable working with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives. You are committed to maintaining high standards and ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of hourly workforce members, supporting and motivating them to achieve their best performance. You will manage key operational metrics, including safety, quality, and productivity, while ensuring that customer delivery promises are met. You will collaborate with support teams to develop and implement strategies that align with business goals, continuously improving operational workflows.
You will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts, fostering a positive work environment that prioritizes safety and quality. Your role will involve monitoring performance and providing feedback to team members, helping them grow and succeed in their roles. You will also play a crucial part in maintaining customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered at the right time and to the right location.
