Who you are
You are a motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and performance in operations and are committed to engaging your team to achieve these goals. You have the ability to lift up to 49 pounds and are comfortable standing or walking for extended periods during shifts. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to work with various support teams to meet business objectives.
Desirable
Experience in logistics or fulfillment operations is a plus, as is familiarity with safety and quality assurance practices. You are adaptable and ready to take on new challenges as Amazon continues to expand its operations network.
What you'll do
As an Area Manager II, you will lead a team of hourly workers, supporting, mentoring, and motivating them during their shifts. You will manage key operational metrics, ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises are met consistently. Collaborating with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources, you will develop plans to achieve business objectives and maintain high standards across all workflows. Your role will involve overseeing the first mile, middle mile, and last mile processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
