Overview

Amazon is hiring a Risk Manager I for the Driver Identity Verification team to oversee investigations and manage employee performance. You'll work towards minimizing fraud and account takeovers while enhancing customer experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have experience in risk management and team leadership, with a focus on operational excellence and process improvement. You understand the importance of balancing customer experience with risk mitigation and have a strong voice in operational forecasting and staffing requirements.

You are skilled in building and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and have a track record of implementing metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive team performance. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and training to ensure your team meets service level agreements (SLAs).

What you'll do

As a Risk Manager, you will lead the Driver Identity Verification team, overseeing the investigation processes to validate driver identities and mitigate risks associated with account takeovers and fraud. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that aim for zero fraud and zero false positives, ensuring that customer experience remains a priority.

You will build operational cadences and review mechanisms to achieve performance standards, collaborating closely with global program owners to design and deploy effective business strategies. Your role will involve continuous process improvements and operational management to enhance the team's effectiveness.
