Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and experience in a customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing. Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, allow you to effectively lead and motivate your team. You are proficient in MS Excel, which you use to analyze data and drive operational improvements. You are a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can inspire your associates to achieve their best.

You have a proven track record of managing end-to-end operations, particularly in last mile logistics. Your experience includes supervising dispatch operations and meeting customer-facing metrics while maintaining operational and cost targets. You understand the importance of safety and morale within your team and actively work to uphold these values.

Desirable

Experience in conducting audits such as 4M / 5S and Safety GEMBA is a plus. Familiarity with performance management and training development plans for team members will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage daily last mile operations for a combination of small sites, ensuring that delivery performance meets customer expectations. You will supervise last mile dispatch operations, focusing on achieving operational and cost targets while maintaining a safe working environment for your team. Your responsibilities will include driving performance management of your team members and DSP partners, preparing and implementing training and development plans for delivery associates, and continuously improving operational processes in collaboration with DSP.

You will conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of high performance and accountability within your team. You will also be expected to travel to different stores within the UAE as needed to oversee operations and ensure consistency across locations.
