Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalent and are ready to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. You can lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. You are detail-oriented and can independently assess associate work performance while providing timely feedback. You understand the importance of safety in the workplace and are committed to maintaining a clean and well-equipped work area.

You have experience with Microsoft Office products and applications, which will help you track and report labor hours effectively. You are a team player who enjoys leading meetings and assigning job duties to ensure successful area performance. You are proactive in identifying and addressing safety hazards and participate in safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment.

What you'll do

As a Seasonal Outbound Process Assistant, you will play a crucial role in Amazon's Last Mile operations. Your responsibilities will include allocating labor, leading meetings, and providing work direction to associates. You will track and report metrics to ensure that production goals are met and assist with training associates on standard operating procedures (SOP) compliance. You will also participate in Operational Excellence initiatives, maintaining a full understanding of workflow and daily production goals.

You will review and update SOPs as required and ensure that work areas remain clean and properly equipped. Additionally, you will coach associates on safe working practices and ensure that all job injuries are reported timely in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role may also involve providing vacation coverage for Area Managers, making your leadership skills essential for success.
