What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and performance metrics to ensure that operational goals are met. Your role will involve driving the creation of quality initiatives and process change initiatives that align with the business plan.

You will oversee the safety, quality, and performance of either Inbound or Outbound operations, ensuring that customer experience remains a top priority. By leveraging your team, you will source and nurture ideas that contribute to improvement plans for your functional area. You will take proactive steps to share best practices across all departments and shifts, fostering a collaborative environment.

Collaboration with support staff will be key to your success, as you will work closely with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, and IT to build support for your initiatives. You will also provide necessary resources for other staff initiatives, ensuring that the Fulfillment Center operates smoothly and efficiently.
