Who you are
You have at least 1 year of experience in employee and performance management, demonstrating your ability to lead and develop teams effectively. You pride yourself on maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance, ensuring that your team meets customer expectations consistently. Your leadership style is empathetic, and you lead by example, motivating your team to achieve their best. You are proactive in identifying process improvement initiatives and are familiar with Lean tools to enhance operational efficiency. You understand the importance of collaboration, working closely with support teams such as Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to meet business objectives. You are physically capable of performing tasks that require pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching varying weights, which is essential for the role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Shift Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in leading a team of associates within the Delivery Station in Eastern Creek. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customer orders are delivered at the right time and to the right location. You will lead and develop your team, fostering a culture of safety and high performance. You will collaborate with various support teams to develop plans that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
