What you'll do

As the Controls Manager, you will lead a team of Controls Technicians in the deployment and service of building automation systems and electrical power monitoring systems within Amazon's data centers. Your role will involve coordinating with various teams across AWS to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that safety standards are upheld. You will be responsible for developing operational strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining high service levels for our customers.

You will oversee the training and development of your team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. This includes conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to help team members grow in their careers. You will also be involved in project management, ensuring that all initiatives are completed on time and within budget.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with engineers and specialists from various disciplines to tackle complex challenges. You will be expected to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project progress and operational performance.
