Job Description
Who you are
You have 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience, with a solid understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. You are familiar with professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing strategies. Your experience includes working closely with software development engineers to understand technical architecture and feature implementation.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively interact with users, technical teams, and senior management. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for finding, isolating, documenting, and tracking bugs through resolution. You are passionate about quality and advocate for it in every phase of the development process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for various platforms, including web and mobile. You will review user interfaces for conformity and functionality, ensuring that all features meet the required standards. You will help develop and improve testing strategies and techniques, contributing to the overall quality of the software.
You will interpret and report testing results, providing insights that will help shape the development process. Collaborating with software development engineers, you will gain a deeper understanding of the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that the systems built for Amazon operations are reliable and efficient.
